Care and Maintenance

Our products are carefully crafted from the finest materials to withstand all weather conditions and will remain beautiful with minimal care and maintenance. During extreme or freezing temperatures or if your outdoor furniture is not going to be used for an extended period of time, we recommend that you store in a cool, dry place and preferably with outdoor furniture covers.

During the off season or not in use for a prolonged period, we recommend storing your furniture indoor or covered areas. In certain climates, humidity and condensation form under the furniture cover, which can cause mold and mildew on the wicker weave or aluminum frame. For specific materials, please refer to the care and maintenance instruction below.

RESIN

Simply clean with mild soap and water and a wet sponge, cloth or soft brush regularly to remove any dirt or dust that may collect over time. Use only a garden hose to rinse off the residue that may have clogged in between the weave and allow to dry.

Do not clean using abrasive cleaning materials or a scouring pad as scratches may remain on the surface. Please note, do not use a pressure washer nozzle up close to the wicker weave as the high pressure will damage the surface of the resin.

ALUMINUM

We use thick gauge aluminum tubes for our furniture, providing a strong, anti-rust framework.
Simply clean with mild soap and water and a wet sponge, cloth or soft brush regularly to remove any dirt or dust that may collect over time. Use only a garden hose to rinse off the residue that may have clogged in between the weave and allow to dry.

Be careful to avoid scratching the finish. Do not clean using abrasive cleaning materials or a scouring pad as scratches may remain on the surface. Please note, do not use a pressure washer nozzle up close to the aluminum frame as the high pressure may damage the powder coat surface of the frame.

There are small “drain holes” underneath the aluminum frame to help drain water. This will allow the inside of frames to air out. However, moisture can also enter in through these drain holes. These “drain holes” are pre-drilled at the factory to allow unobstructed draining using the force of gravity in the normal upright position. As such, you should avoid storing outdoor furniture upside down.

Do not put heavy objects like ceramic planters, glass vases or any other object with possible rough edge bottoms on aluminum table tops (dining tables, coffee tables, side tables) to avoid scratches and water marks. Do not put hot objects such as hot pans on aluminum table to avoid leaving heat marks on it.

BATYLINE® / Serge Ferrari

Remove any dirt or dust using a vacuum cleaner or non-metallic soft brush. Wash it with a soft brush or a sponge, using mild soap water. Rinse well and allow to dry thoroughly.

Do not clean using abrasive cleaning materials or a scouring pad as it may be harmful to the textiles.

CUSHIONS / Sunbrella® Fabric

Our cushions are made with 100% reticulated quick-drying foam cushions designed to allow water to pass directly through them as quickly as possible. Should your cushions get wet, tilt them up with the zipper end on the bottom, and let gravity drain the water out naturally.

Clean your cushions from time to time, especially if your furniture is located close to trees where sap or pollen may fall onto the cushions. While casual furniture fabrics are designed for outdoor use, this does not mean they will not get dirty where mold and/or mildew can grow on dirt. You can spot clean stubborn stains by spraying OxyClean or Tide Rescue w/Oxi onto the stain and sponging briskly and rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove the residue and air dry.

At the end of the season when you are not using your furniture, if possible, remove and store your cushions in a clean, dry place.

We only exclusively use performance fabrics from Sunbrella®. Keep your fabrics clean by brushing off dirt before it becomes embedded in the fabric material. Wipe up spills immediately or soon after, otherwise stains may become harder to remove.
